این پژوهش با هدف تعیین نقش تحول اخلاقی و سبک های هویتی در پیش بینی معنای زندگی دانشجویان دانشگاه تبریز انجام شد.برای این منظور ۳۹۶ نفر دانشجو ۸۴۱ مرد، ۲۱۲ زن به صورت نمونه گیری تصادفی از بین دانشجویان چهار رشته علوم انسانی، علوم پایه، کشاورزی و فنی- مهندسی انتخاب شدند .برای گردآوری اطلاعات از پرسش نامه های تحول اخلاقی ص‌ما ،سبک های هویتی بنیون و آدامز۲) -(OMEISو معنی زندگی (PIL) استفاده شد .داده های آماری به دست آمده با استفاده از روش همبستگی پیرسون، تحلیل واریانس چند متغیره (MANOVA)و رگرسیون چندگانه در نرم افزار ۱۷ spssمورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفتند .نتایج به دست آمده نشان داد که بین سبکهای هویتی و معنای زندگی و تحول اخلاقی و معنای زندگی و نیز بین سبکهای هویتی و تحول اخلاقی رابطه معنی دار وجود دارد .از طرفی متغیرهای تحول اخلاقی و سبکهای هویتی قادر بودند به صورت تفکیکی و ترکیبی تغییرات متغیر ملاک) معنای زندگی ( را به طور معنی داری پیش بینی کنند .علاوه بر این نتایج حاصل از مقایسه گروهها حاکی از این بود که بین زنان و مردان در سبک های هویتی) سردرگم و زود هنگام (و معنی زندگی تفاوت معنی دار وجود دارد و معنی زندگی در زنان به طور معنی داری بیشتر از مردان می باشد

engineering via random sampling. For gathering information, the ma moral developments, Bennion and Adams identity styles, and meaning in life questionnaires were used. Data were analyzed through pearsons correlation coefficient. Multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA), and regression analysis. Results: Results revealed that there significant correlation between identity styles and meaning in life, moral development and meaning in life, identity styles and moral development. Also, moral development and identity styles predicted meaning in life, significantly. Meanwhile, comparison of groups indicated that significantly is different between males and females in identity styles (Identity diffusion and Identity foreclosure) so that meaning in life among females are more than males-Introduction: This research aimed to determine the role of moral development and identity styles on prediction of meaning in life among students of Tabriz university.
