SUMMARY OR ABSTRACT
Text of Note
Aegilops and Triticum are wild relatives of wheat and they could have an important role in wheat breeding . Study of Aegilops and Triticum in different place of the world had indicated that these special genetic sourse for resistant genes of disease and other quality and quantity traits in wheat breeding . Phylogenetic relations of fourtheen species belovging to Triticum and Aegilops genus were studied using six Isozyme system . Multiple system of electrophoresis in starch gel . In each species about fiftheen individual have been analyzed . Results indicated that all species had not need any enzyme extraction and coleoptile can be used as isozyme source . Also , Lytium borate system of electrophoresis ( Rijvei ) showed better zymograms , because of short time duration for electrophoresis and higher tolerance of temperature . Acid phosphatase and peroxidase isozyme didn't show clear bands at growth stages studied . Malat dehydrogenase system for all species was monomorph but polymorphisms were observed for three enzyme system of Esterase , Alchol dehydrogenase and Glutamate oxaloacetate transaminase so , for study of genetic relationship of these three system had been used . At first isozyme bands have been recorded as one and zero according to their existence or absence . Then , the ferequency of each band have been calculated and genetic distances were estimated by using Euclidian distance . Distnsces were converted to dendrograms with UPGMA method . Five group were observed : First group was consisted of T. aestivum , T. durum , T. dicoccoides and T. boeticum , Second group Ae. triuncialis , Ae. columnaris , Ae. crassa and Ae. columnaris species , Third group Ae. umbellulata , Ae. cylindrica , Ae. tauschii and Ae. neglecta , Fourth group included Ae. kotschii and Fifth group contained T. urartu . Difference within diploid species was more than polyploide species . So that Ae. umbellulata , Ae. tauschii , T. urartu and T. boeticum were classified in different groups . Variance analysis of average distances for these groups with different genomes indicated that the difference between groups was higher than within groups differences . And also the observed genetic variation was attributed to kind of genomes rather than to ploidy leveles . Finally , similarities of this clustering were compared with others and were discussed .
