.Sunday cross (29.587 ). The parental lines polymorphism was assessed by 78 polymorphic microsatellite markers resulting to 359 alleles in the parental lines. Number of alleles ranged from 2 to 9 with an average of 4.219 alleles per locus. Marker Na12-E09 generated the highest number of alleles (9 alleles). Due to heterozygosity of some parents in this locus, number of alleles was higher than genotype number. Major allele frequency for all the markers was 0.451 and marker PMR52(locus-1) and Na12-E09 with 0.857 and 0.188 major allele frequency had the highest and lowest values, respectively. In the most of microsatellite loci, heterozygosity wasn't observed. The maximum amount of heterozygosity was belonged to marker Na12-G05 (0.75). Polymorphic information content (PIC) ranged from 0.215 to 0.844 with an average of 0.602. Gene diversity showed variation between 0.244 and 0.859 with an average of 0.653. Genetic similarity was evaluated based on 0 and 1 matrix by means of Jaccard, Dice and Simple Matching similarity coefficients. Based on all similarity coefficients, the highest and lowest similarities were observed between Orient and Geronimo cultivars and Sunday and Geronimo cultivars, respectively. Evaluation of genetic distance based on Shared alleles, Nei 72, Nei 83 and Rogers 72 coefficients also revealed the same results as similarity coefficients. Dendrograms were constructed using UPGMA and Neibour-Joining clustering algorithms based on similarity and distance coefficients. In the all resulting dendrograms, two distinct groups were obtained. Sunday, Modena and SWO756 cultivars were grouped together and GA96, Geronimo, Okapi, Zarfam and Orient cultivars were assigned into other group. Genetic distance was separated into general and specific genetic distance based on Griffing's method. Correlation between general genetic distance and general combining ability and mean values of parents for different traits means showed significant and positive correlation between pod number per main branch and general combining ability. No significant correlation was between parent specific genetic distances and their hybrid specific combining ability or mean values. Stepwise multiple regression analysis was employed to determine the chromosomal regions associated with yield and yield component, taking trait means as dependent variable and marker genotypes of hybrid as independent variables. A total of 25 informative markers were detected for different traits. Two genetic parameters; additive effect and degree of dominance were estimated for those chromosomal regions containing informative marker. Marker Na12-G05 showed the highest additive effect on number of pod number per main branch with higher R2 value (40 ). The degree of dominance estimates for different informative markers showed over-dominant effect in the most of chromosomal regions on studied traits. Only in two regions contributing on oil content, partial dominant effect was observed. Among informative markers, marker Ni4-B03 had the highest PIC value (0.747).Key words: Brassica napus, Heterogenic pattern, Microsatellite markers, Informative markers, Heritability, Genetic distance
