پژوهش حاضر به منظور ارزیابی اقتصادی و فنی استفاده از گاز طبیعی مایع شده مقیاس کوچک برای گازرسانی به روستاهای دوردست آذربایجان شرقی انجام شد .هدف و دلیل بررسی LNG نسبت به سایر روش‌های گازرسانی) خط لوله و ( CNG صعب العبور بودن، دور بودن روستاها و حداقل کردن هزینه‌های گازرسانی بود .در این پژوهش روستاهایی که نیاز به گازرسانی داشتند، مشخص شدند و فاصله مورد نیاز برای گازرسانی از طریق نرم افزار Auto cad بدست آمد و با استفاده از آنها و سایر اطلاعات، هزینه مورد نیاز گازرسانی برای سه روش بوسیله نرم‌افزار Comfar مشخص و با هم مقایسه شدند .با توجه به نتایج بدست آمده LNG پر هزینه‌ترین و خط لوله کم هزینه‌ترین روش گازرسانی برای روستاهای آذربایجان شرقی بود .بنابراین نتیجه می‌گیریم که روش خط لوله اقتصادی‌ترین روش برای گازرسانی می‌باشد و چون از روش LNG برای انتقال انرژی استفاده نخواهد شد پس ذخیره LNG نیز غیر اقتصادی می‌باشد .

This research was conducted to evaluate the economic and technical use of LNG for the gas supply to the remote villages of East Azarbaijan. The purpose and reason for the LNG survey was that it was less burdensome than other gas pipelines (CNG pipelines), remoteness of villages and minimizing gas supply costs. Villages requiring gas supply were identified and the space required for gas supply through the Auto Cad software was obtained and using them and other information, the cost of gas supply for the three methods was compared by using the software of Comfar. According to the results, LNG was the most expensive and the pipeline was the least costly method for gas supply to the villages of East Azarbaijan. Therefore, we conclude that the pipeline method is the most economical method for gas supply, and therefore LNG storage is not economical and because the LNG method is not used for energy transfer so storage of LNG is also uneconomical
