The reports of the diplomatic mission of Shehdi Osman Efendi is an important resource in terms of socio-historical point of view and observations on the Russian Kingdom and cultural life of the Russian society. The diplomatic mission of Shehdi Osman Efendi to declare Mustafa III, the new Ottoman Sultan had ascend the throne, was to strengthen the international relationships between the Ottoman Empire and the Russia.
