This dissertation attempts to clarify the essential characteristics of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) which was established by Gulf countries in 1981.An excellent analysis of the GCC from the viewpoint of the international politics of the Middle East has been made in order to provide information about the GCC and the present situation of the Gulf countries.
