This thesis is an exploration of imagination and its interaction with storytelling and our perception of the world around us. It draws on multiple fields of study including research, literature, philosophy, psychology and art. It examines various explorations into the history of storytelling, the development of the imagination, developmental psychology, and other ideas surrounding childhood and imagination's place in our lives.
