Mir Nazif Ahmed Bey (Mīr Naẓīf Aḥmed, d. 1251/1835-6) was a poet known for his anthology Müntekhabāt-ı Mīr Naẓīf ("Anthology of Mīr Naẓīf"), published by Bulak Maṭba'ası (Būlāq Printing House) in Egypt in 1261/1845. We have no information on his early life, but according to Fatin (Faṭīn, d. 1283/1866), he was from Istanbul and travelled to Cairo, where he joined the army of Mehmed Ali Paşa (Meḥmed ʿAlī, d. 1265/1849) in 1240/1824-5.
