Abū Bakr Muḥammad b. Isḥāq b. Khuzayma al-Sulamī al-Naysābūrī (223-311/838-924), known as Ibn Khuzayma , was a prominent Shāfiʿī jurist and ḥadīth scholar of Nīshāpūr. He travelled to Rayy, Baghdad, Basra, Kufa, Syria, northern Iraq, Egypt, and Wāsiṭ to study Islamic law and collect Prophetic ḥadīth .
