Aganafat is the purported author of a Latin text with the title Thesaurus philosophorum , containing instruction in the art of disputation and rules for opponents and respondents. The text (ed. de Rijk, 108-58) is preserved in two Latin manuscripts, one of which was copied around 1300, as well as in a later redaction, preserved in Prague, which dates from the fifteenth century and contains many interpolations (ibid., 159-92).
