SUMMARY OR ABSTRACT

Text of Note
"Spanning the time from before the Europeans come to the New World until the time that each state helped create and rectify the constitution, thirteen colours, as new 13-volume set from facts on file, conveys the enablement of these stories to young people. New York covers the history of this colony's growth from the time Samuel de Champlain and Henry Hudson each explored portions of what would later become New York State. Includes black-and-white photographs, maps, a population growth graph of the colony and of all the colonies, sidebars, appendix of sites in the state, a further reading list, a timeline, and an index.
