Five months after Israel under heavy international pressure agreed to ease its siege of Gaza, an international coalition of twenty-six development, human rights, and peace-building organizations (including Amnesty International, the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Network, the International Federation for Human Rights, Medical Aid for Palestinians, Oxfam International, and Save the Children) issued this data-heavy report detailing the extent to which conditions in Gaza had improved and urging "renewed international action to ensure an immediate, unconditional, and complete lifting of the blockade." The excerpts below exclude only several case studies and the final recommendations to the international community. Layout has been modified and notes deleted to save space.
