SUMMARY OR ABSTRACT
Text of Note
Communities across the United Kingdom have been affected by the occurrence of young people becoming radicalised and joining the 'Islamic State of Iraq and Syria' (ISIS). The public sphere is replete with discussions about Muslims, radicalisation and ISIS which it has become impossible to ignore. This thesis examined how British Muslims experience life in the age of ISIS on the basis of focus groups conducted in Bristol and sources from British Muslim Organisations.
