SUMMARY OR ABSTRACT
Text of Note
Celebrity detox is a look at Rosie O'Donnell's climb to fame and the experiences along the way that slowly led her to realize that fame was a dangerous addiction, a potent powder that, once inhaled, brings about both loss of self and a need for more, more, more. This is Rosie's story of the years after she walked away from her top-rated TV show in 2002, and her reasons for going back on the air in 2006. She illuminates not only what it's like to be a celebrity, but also what it's like to be a human being.
