SUMMARY OR ABSTRACT
Text of Note
This chapter discusses freeze-out effects, hot electron effects, and submillimeter photoconductivity in InSb. Three types of freeze-out effects are described in the chapter-namely, (1) hydrogen atom in a strong magnetic field, (2) freeze-out effect in InSb, and (3) comparison of results with Yafet, Keyes, and Adams (YKA) theory. The chapter discusses the ionization energy and Bohr radius for hydrogenic impurities in various semiconductors. The impurity concentration at which the average spacing between neighboring impurities is about 10aB
