The major fields covered in this book are the epidemiology, pathology, diagnosis, and treatment of digestive cancer. The book provides an overview of the global aspects of digestive cancers in terms of their epidemiology, their increased early detection through the use of newly developed diagnostic tools, and recent advances in their management, including endoscopic and laparoscopic treatment.
