The first edition of this enduring text was published in 1980, and the most recent, in 2005. The mission for this sixth edition continues to be up-to-date coverage of basic principles and current techniques, and integration of electrophysiologic findings with clinical context, supported by description of common artifacts to promote accurate interpretation.
