They cover the basic principles of dermatological practice, including embryology, anatomy, biochemistry, physiology, immunology, and genetics, then diagnosis aspects like allergy diagnosis, histopathology, immunofluorescence and electron microscopy, mycology and bacteriology, skin tests, and imaging. Treatment aspects are considered next, such as medical and topical therapy, surgery, and physical modalities like phototherapy and laser therapy. The final and largest section addresses specific diseases, from dermatitis to lupus to tumors to acne, and includes viral and bacterial and sexually transmitted diseases. There is no bibliography.
