Background : As hemodialysis (HD) and peritoneal dialysis (PD) are forms of renal replacement therapy and not an actual kidney, they do not possess the same physiologic regulation of both fluid and electrolytes. Precise regulation of fluid and electrolytes in the HD and PD population remains a constant challenge. Therefore, precise regulation of fluids and electrolytes in the HD and PD population remains a constant challenge in the nephrology discipline, with continual research into the fields of fluid status, sodium, potassium, phosphorus, and calcium levels in those patients requiring renal replacement therapy. Method: The study performed here will be a descriptive, retrospective cross-sectional study on evaluating and comparing the status of electrolyte in patients on hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis in the children’s medical center hospital in 2020- 2022

زمینه و هدف: از آنجایی که همودیالیز (HD) و دیالیز صفاقی (PD) اشکالی از درمان جایگزین کلیه هستند و یک کلیه واقعی نیستند، آنها دارای تنظیم فیزیولوژیکی یکسانی از مایع و الکترولیت نیستند. تنظیم دقیق مایعات و الکترولیت ها در جمعیت HD و PD یک چالش همیشگی است. بنابراین، تنظیم دقیق مایعات و الکترولیت ها در جمعیت HD و PD با تحقیقات مستمر در زمینه وضعیت مایعات، سطوح سدیم، پتاسیم، فسفر و کلسیم در بیمارانی که نیاز به درمان جایگزین کلیه دارند، یک چالش ثابت در رشته نفرولوژی باقی می ماند.روش: مطالعه انجام شده در اینجا یک مطالعه مقطعی توصیفی گذشته نگر در ارزیابی و مقایسه وضعیت الکترولیت در بیماران تحت همودیالیز و دیالیز صفاقی در بیمارستان مرکز طبی کودکان در سال 91-1399 خواهد بود.
