Meister Eckhart and Jalal al-Din Muhammad Rumi put emphasis on the unknowability of the Godhead or God`s essence. In Meister`s view, the Godhead has manifested itself in the Trinity (the Father, the son and the Holy spirit) and in Mulavi`s opinion, God`s essence possesses the names and the attributes. In the opinion of Eckhart and mulana, created things before creation had been in form of image in the knowledge of god. At first, the godhead engendered and created the universal intellect (Christ, the Reality of Muhammad) and then all things were made through him. Both the theory of creation out of nothing with the continuous creativity of God and the theory of emanation are seen in meister and Rumi`s works. But because of the Bible and the Quran, they adhere to the theory of creation out of nothing with the continuous creativity of God. God created Adam Upon His own form.
