SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: 1. An PC-compatible computer with 486 or faster CPU (Pentium or equivalent strongly recommended). 2. A color monitor capable of displaying at least 8-bit (256 colors) at 640x480 pixels. For best results, set your monitor to "thousands" of colors or more. Refer to the documentation that came with your computer/graphics card for information about setting your monitor resolution.3. A double-speed (2x) or faster CD-ROM drive.4. Sixteen MB of physical RAM.5. Approximately 4 MB of free disk space is required to install the software necessary to access the Delcomyn CD-ROM. 6. Apple's QuickTime for Windows software (version 2.12 is included on the CD) is required for operation of the Foundations of Neurobiology CD-ROM. If you are not using QuickTime for Windows version 2.12 or later (or if you are unsure), run the QuickTime for Windows installer application located in the "QTWIN212" directory on the CD. Install the 32-bit version if you are running Win95. 7. A World Wide Web browser application such as Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer, along with access to the Internet is necessary for viewing Internet-related components included on the CD.
