Introduction: Nursing staff, especially Psychiatric Nurses, are more exposed to occupational stress due to the high degree of difficulty of physical, organizational, and psychosocial factors in the workplace. One of the most important human abilities that results in effective adaptation to psychosocial stressors in the workplace is resilience, which reinforcement is recommended in Psychiatric Nurses. Objective: The effectiveness of resiliency skills education on psychosocial working conditions among nursing personnel, Shafa Psychiatric Hospital, Rasht, Iran. Methods: This study was clinical trial study with a pre-test, a post-test and one control group. Eighty nursing personnel were recruited and assigned for intervention and control groups (40 in each group) randomly. The intervention group was conducted with a resiliency skills training course in 10 sessions of 45 minutes each, but the control group spend its routine program. Data were collected using demographic questionnaire and Copenhagen Psychosocial Questionnaire (COPSOQ) including subscales such as Quantitative demands, Emotional demands, Influence at work, Role clarity, Sense of community, Meaning of work, Quality of leadership, Job satisfaction and Insecurity at work. The data was analyzed using Wilcoxon and covariance test in SPSS v.22. Finding: Results showed that no different between two group of intervention and control about demographic characteristics. After the education, the mean of total score, as well as the scores of psychosocial conditions scales including Sense of community, Meaning of work, Quality of leadership, Job satisfaction and Insecurity at work in the intervention group Was significantly higher than the control group (p0.05). Conclusion: According to the findings of this research, it is recommended to train the resilience skills in the nurse's in-service training program. Based on the findings of this study, education should be based on the study of organizational culture and the impact of cultural variables of the employees.
