Smirnove tests were uses to asses normality of the variables. Mann-whitney and Wilcaxon and K-squares were uses for both groups. To make a comparison between both groups in all aspects, pre-intervention and post-intervention, Mann Whitney , Wilcaxon tests and t student were used independently. The results of test indicated that there is a significant difference between test group and control group in reduces the frequency of rehospitalizations, durance of patient return and improves their family function.( p=0.001). also there was a significant difference between both groups in pre and post interventions for reduces the frequency of rehospitalizations and improves their family function (p=0.001). There were only 6 patients in test group who were hospitalized due to their replase, whereas all patients of control group had been hospitalized in care centers 1 or 2 times during four months.Conclusion: findings of this research indicated that application of systemic intervention model reduces the frequency of rehospitalizations, durance of patient return and improves their family function.Keywords: social work interventions, rehospitalizations, schizophrenia Department of Social Work Thsis Titleت Introduction: nowadays, there have been considerable changes in inmate services especially in schizophrenic patients. Relapse and repeated hospitalizations are of the evident symptoms of schizophrenia. Considering these changes and that family is a major source of support and care for the patient, necessitates paying attention to the needs and problems of schizophrenic families . Addressing educational problems and supportive supervisory for these patients and their families may reduce the frequency of replases and repeated rehospitalization.Objective: the present article intends to study the effect of systemic model of social work interventions on frequency of rehospitalizations for schizophrenic patients in Razi psychiatry center.Method: this study is considered as an applied, quasi-experimental one. Sampling was performed using random, full-counting method. For this purpose, 9 active parts of the Razi hospital were studied. Totally 153 patiens had been hospitalized in all parts of hospital, 70 patient were qualified to be involved. Then, these qualified patients were randomly categorized into two groups: experimental and control group: 35 patients in experimental and 35 patients in control group.Two questionnaires related to data on social-demographics and one other related to the assessment of family performance(FAD).Reliability of FAD subscales was 72 and 92 which were satisfactory. At first, each group was given the questionnaires. Then. Social work interventions were performed on experimental group.These interventions included: psychological training of families and how to support patient after hospital.
