Comparison of family function among marginalized and non-marginalized families of Hamedan on 1388 Introduction: The present study aims to compare the family function between marginalized and non-marginalized families of Hamedan in 1388.Method: The study is an ex post facto research. A multi stage clustering sampling method was used in both populations. The sample consists of 250 marginalized families and 250 non-marginalized families. To collect data astandardized version of MC Masster scale was applied. In order to analyze K-S, UMann Whitney, chi-square, and T-test were carried out.Result: the findings of the study showed that scores of variables family roles,problem-solving ability, emotion expression, and total family function in marginalized were less than in non- marginalized.Conclusion: There was significant difference between variables family roles,problem solving ability expressing emotions, and total family function of two groups (p<0/001). The findings resealed that important role of living environment should be emphasized in study of family roles, problem solving ability expressing emotions, and total family function.Keywords: marginalization family, non-marginalized family, family function.
