Objective: Multiple sclerosis (MS) is one of the most common demylination diseases in young people. It is well known that neurorehabilitation can reduce disability and improve quality of life of people with MS .In Dec 2004 Hayateno rehabilitation center was established in Tehran for people with MS. This research show the effectof Hayateno center protocol on improvement of quality of life of MS patent Method and Material: 65 MS patent (17 male, 48 female) that consult to Hayateno center and received multidisciplinary rehabilitation program as test group and 65 MS patent(17male ,48female) that did rehabilitation but not regularly , as control . this group matching with test group in sex, age, education ,type of MS ,marriage , time of begging of MS and disability status. At the first in the both group quality of life were measured by multiple sclerosis quality of life 54(MSQOL-54). Then the test group received multidisciplinary rehabilitation Hayateno center protocol; physiotherapy , occupational therapy ,speech therapy,psychology and familial consulting, also the social rehabilitation were formed between the patents as well as music , are the parts of this multidisciplinary rehabilitation after 3month both group filled up the questionery MSQOL-54 and the changes in quality of life were detected and compaired.Results: changes in all of the main and subgroups of the test groupquality of life were significant ( P<0.001), except cognitive function.Conclusion: Use of Hayateno center protocol is effected on develop the quality of life in MS patent. This improvement is compairable withanother center in the world.Key word: Multiple Sclerosis , Multidisciplinary rehabilitation, quality of life
