Introduction : Pain has two harmful subsequences. The first one is the fear and lack of self confidence towards the attendents which is in turn a result of failing in prevention or soothe of the pain; the other one is the abuse of sedimentation drugs in diagnostic methods which causes reduction of drugs effects on subsequence method. Pain experience in conjenital period has long term effects like keeping pain memory delay in growth and development and change in response to the future painful experiences . Pain could make a lot of physiologic disorders (short-term complications) . The growth of centeral neuro-system could be changed by external events. This study is to determine the effect of oral glocus on pains caused by i.m.injections , on newborn in Semnan Shefa Hospital in 1384 .
