Purpose: purpose of this research is comparison is comparison of Musculoskeletal pain quality of life and depression of mother of children with cerebral palsy children and mother with typically development children Method: In this cross sectional research 60 mother of cerebral palsy children were studied on base of simple random sampling in private and public occupational therapy clinics of Tehran and 60 mothers of normal children were random among mothers who referred to public hospital and pediatrician offices. Two groups of mother and children were similar according to age and body mass index. mothers were completed Demographic, Nordic Musculo-skeletal pain, Beck and SF-36 quality of life questionnaire. Research data was analyzed by independed t test, x2 test, coefficient of person and regression correlation of two variables and also one variable variance test were analyzed Finding: statistical analysis was done by spss 16 and comparison of mean with t test showed that mother of cerebral palsy children experience more depression and Musculo-skeletal pain and lower quality of life than mother with typically development children(p<0/05) Person correlation between depression and Musculo-skeletal pain, Musculoskeletal pain and quality of life pain, depression and quality of life in mother of children with cerebral palsy and correlation of quality of life and depression in mother of typically development children was significant(p<0/05) Conclusion: Mother of children with cerebral palsy children experience more depression and Musculo-skeletal pain and lower quality of life because of physical mental stress of care.
