Introduction: One of the issues that nurses are encounters when they perform their duties is patient care decision- making. Understanding the ethical issues helps them to apply the ethical standards in their decision- makings. Therefore, the purpose of this research is Evaluat the effect of nursing ethical principles training on moral sensitivity in nurses decisions- making. METHODS: In this semi-experimental study, 79 nurses who worked in the hospitals in Kerman participate in this study. They were chosen with purposive sampling method and randomly allocated into two control and interventional groups (39 in the interventional and 40 in the control group). Moral sensitivity in decision making questionnaire was used for gathering data collected before and two months after the intervention. After the first test, nurses in the interventional group wrer invitated in nursing ethics workshop for three sessions ( four hours tranning in each session) and doing follow-up reminder for two months, after that two groups complet the questionnaire again. Data statistical evaluation was carried out by SPSS for windows version17 and t-tests, paired t-test and Chi square were used for analying. Results: finding showed a significant differences between nurses' ethical sensitivity in decision-making before and after the intervention in the experimental group (P = 0.001). There was also a significant differences in decision-making sensitivity after implementation of the traning between intervention and control groups. (P = 0.001) Conclusion: It could be concluded that ethics principles education for nurses has positive effects on nurses' ethical sensitivity in decision-making. Thus, ethics principles education recommended for nurses to improve and increase the quality of nursing clinical decision and their cares Key words: ethics principles, nurses, ethical sensitivity in decision-making.
