.Waste materials safe storage capability will be the most important point in development of nuclear power plants in the future. Waste disposal methods must be not only safe in terms of engineering and radioactivity health, but also to the community of people. If this latest need wouldn't be fulfilled, preventive or restrictive laws, will prevent the development of more nuclear plants in the future. So use of fuels produce useful and controllable waste, are necessary. One of these potential fuels, is ThO2-UO2 mixed fuel. Nowadays this fuel is used in the variety of reactors including light water reactors (LWRs) all over the world.Thorium is one of the elements that has been examined in different ways in order to use it as fuel in nuclear reactors in the past two decades. Thorium is 3 to 4 times more than uranium and has been distributed widely in the nature as an easily gained saved material
