This research is trying to determine the criteria for effective teaching from the perspective of professors and students and its application in educational process of Tabriz university. The overall goal, is to determine the criteria for effective teaching from the perspective of professors and students and its application educational process of Tabriz university. The statistical society of this research is the students and the professors of Tabriz university. To determine the sample of students and professors the Cochran formula is used. The sample volume of professors is ۱۴۵ and the sample volume of students is ۳۷۵ persons. The research method in this research is Quantitative- Qualitative. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test for one variable and multivariate analysis of variance is used. The results showed that the rate deployment of criteria for effective teaching in Tabriz university from the perspective of students and professors is evaluated Relatively favorable
