WQDLED is one type of LEDs which is on the base of the quantum dots to produce whitelight. In opposite to the commercial conventional LEDs which use Phosphor to convert the emitted light to White light, QDs are grown in diode junction, where radial recombination occur in order to support the required colors to produce white light. In this thesis we have presented a model for such LED, and studied the output power and light quality. Light quality is characterized by color rendering index (CRI). Moreover, we have investigated the effects of QD nonuniform distribution which is produced in the growth process, where QDs sizes are not the same. In the text, we stated this nonuniformity by a Gaussiandistribution profile. Size error effect of the grown layers and temperature effect on output light are the other phenomena, which have been studied in this thesis. In chapter ۱, we have taken a review on related preliminaries and theories and previous works that have been done. Chapter ۲, introduces a model for White LED on the base of QDs, the simulation method is also explained. In chapter ۳, we have presented the results of simulation and at the end the conclusion and the suggestion are presented
