وجود یک جامعه سالم ،وابسنه به تشکیل خانواده های پایدار،پویا و با نشاط است.یکی از شرایط محیط ایمنی بخش وجود یک خانواده مستحکم و صمیمی است‌به گونه ای که راحتی و آسایش همسران و اعضای خانواده را در پی داشته باشداز طرفی دیگر،استحکام خانواده به ازدواج و رابطه زناشویی پایدار بستگی دارد.در این پژوهش هدف کلی تعیین رابطه بین صفات شخصیتی و رضایت زناشویی است.شخصیت از دیدگاه مدل پنج عاملی مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است که شامل ابعاد پنجگانه‮‭۱‬ - روان رنجورخویی‮‭۲‬ - برون گرایی‮‭۳‬ - باوجدان بودن‮‭۴‬ - انعطاف پذیری‮‭۵‬ - دلپذیربودن می باشد.از این رو تعداد‮‭۱۸۲‬ زوج‮‭(۳۶۴‬نفر (به عنوان نمونه آماری انتخاب شدند.برای سنجش شخصیت از پرسشنامه‮‭FFI(۶۰- NEO‬سوالی (و برای سنجش رضایت زناشویی ازپرسشنامه‮‭E.N.R.I.C.H(۱۱۵‬سوالی (استفاده شده است.در مبانی نظری و تحقیقی این پژوهش نظریه ها و تحقیقهای مرتبط با شخصیت و رضایت زناشویی مورد بررسی و نقد قرار گرفته است.برخی نتایج بدست آمده از تحلیل‮‭۱۰‬ فرضیه و‮‭۱۰‬ سوال تحقیقی عبارتند از:بین ابعاد شخصیتی برون گرایی ،دلپذیربودن و باوجدان بودن با رضایت زناشویی رابطه مثبت وجود دارد.بین بعد روان رنجورخویی شخصیت و رضایت زناشویی رابطه منفی وجود دارد و بین دو متغیر انعطاف پذیری و رضایت زناشویی رابطه ای بدست نیامد.در تحلیل رگرسیونی چندگانه ابعاد شخصیتی دلپذیر بودن مرد ، روان رنجور خویی زن ، دلپذیر یودن زن و روان رنجور خویی زن ، باهم ‮‭۴۵‬ از واریانس رضایت زناشویی را پیش بینی می کند .و این تحلیل برای مردان و زنان به تفکیک محاسبه شده است .علاوه بر بررسی همسان و مکمل همسری زوجها در شخصیت و تاثیر آن بر رضایت زناشویی ، به بررسی نقش متغیرهایی از قبیل شیوه همسر گزینی ، تحصیلات ، میزان درآمد ، تعداد فرزندان ، ازدواج فامیلی/غیرفامیلی ، مدت ازدواج ، شغل زنان و فاصله مکانی زوجها قبل از ازدواج در رضایت زناشویی نیز پرداخته شده است .در پایان پیشنهادهای تحقیقی و کاربردی ارایه شده است.

Existence of a healthy society depends on forming of durable,happy and active families one conditions of secure society is the existence of a strong and intimate family, in away that comfort of spouses and family members is created .on the other hand, strength of family is depend on durable marital relationship,this study is an attempt to investigate the relationships between personality traits and marital satisfaction.personality has been investigated from the perspective of the five factor model.which includes five dimentions:1.Neuroticism (N)2.Extraversion(E)3.Opennes(O)4.Agreeableness(A)5.Co-nscientiousness(C).weselectd 182 pairs (364 person) in our sample.in order to assessing personality,we used personality inventory of N.E.O-FFI(60Question), and in order to assessing marital satisfaction, marital satisfaction inventory E.N.R.I.C.H(115 Question) was employed .in terms of theory this study has investigated the related theories and researches to personality and marital satisfaction.some obtained results of analysing of 10 hypotheses and 10 questions are as followed:there are som positive relationships between dimention of Extraversion, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness and marital satisfaction.there is a negative relation between Neuroticism and marital satisfaction.and there was no relation between Openness and marital satisfaction.in multiple regression analysis, dimention of personality of male(Agreeableness),female(Neuroticism),female(Agreeableness) and male(Neuroticism)predicts 45 percent of varance of marital satisfaction.these analysises were carried out separately for female and male.in addition to, nvestigating of homogamy,hetrogamy of the pairs,in personality and its effect on marital satisfaction,we also investigated the role of variable such as:way of mate selection,education,income, the number of children,familial/nofamilial marriage,duration of the marriage,the womes job,distance of the pairs before marriage, in marital satisfaction.at the end ,some research applicable and researchable suggestions are represented
