سیاستگذاری، برنامه ریزی و استفاده بهینه از ماشین در کشاورزی و توسعه آن در منطقه، اصولا نیازمند در دست بودن اطلاعات صحیح از وضعیت مکانیزاسیون منطقه و شناسایی عوامل موثر در بکار گیری آن توسط کشاورزان در عملیات کشاورزی است.پایین بودن هزینه استفاده از ماشین در مقابل استفاده از نیروی کار، کیفیت مطلوبتر عملیات و محصولات حاصل از آن و مدیریت سهلتر ماشین آلات، مکانیزاسیون را جزئی جدا ناپذیر از کشاورزی نموده است
Policy-making, planning, and optimal utilization of machines in agriculture and Extension of it in the region, basically needs an access to correct data from mechanization situation of the region and its effective factors in operational process in the farms. Lower usage costs of machinery as compared with that of labor costs, improved qualities of on farm operations and that of the resulted products, and easier management of machines, has made the mechanization as an inseparable part of agriculture.. The objective of this research was investigation of mechanization situation and effective factor on it in Neyshabur region in Khorasan province. Also to recognize the problems and bottlenecks in mechanizing of agriculture envisaged by farmers. This research was applied, survey, and cross-sectional types. Sampling frame was 1346 farmer of the region who currently holds tractors of 15 year old and below, where 150 of them were drawn, using Cochran formula, they randomly chosen. For gathering information a questionnaire with 3 parts, with some closed and open questions. The results revealed that mechanization index of region were around 0.46 which in comparison with national index of (0.7) had significant different. To test the selected hypotheses the Pearson and Spearman correlation coefficients were applied, and to show the relationships between dependant and independent variables Multi-step regression was used. In the process of extraction and analyses the Excel 2003 and Spss-15 was applied. The results show that there are significant positive relations between literacy level of farmers, the number of family members, kind and levels of machinery possession, cultivated lands, product yields, repeating levels of participation in extension class, social communication skills, satisfaction levels, technical skills and optimal utilization of existing machines and mechanization level and degree of farms unit. There are significant reverse relations between age levels of farmers, the rate of family members' assistance and mechanization degree of farm unit. The result of the multi variable analysis using step by step method, revealed 80 percent of variations of dependent variable in regression equation, was explained by of taking part in extension classes, technical skill and number, distance and size of landing farm units.
