فلسفه برای کودکان و نوجوانان برنامه ای است که تفکر عمیق فلسفی را آموزش می دهد و توانایی استدلال و داوری در کودکان را افزایش می دهد .یکی از کارها در فلسفه برای کودکان تلاش برای روشن کردن مفاهیم پیچیده و غامض است که این کار باعث افزایش تفکر نقاد و خلاق در ذهن کودک می شود که با جستجو و بررسی وارد عمل شده و با آزادی مفاهیم را بررسی کرده و روشن و واضح می سازد
Philosophy for children is the program that teach how to think philosophical and raise the ability of argument and judgment. One of the things that philosophy for children endeavor to do is to reveal complicated and tangled concepts which increase the ability of critical and creative thinking in childrens mind which is searching the concepts and ideas clear and apart from each other freely. in every educational system is nurturing one of the main purposes wise and intelligent human beings whom are scholars of their society and try to think based on arguments and try to communicate with their surrounding environment with correct thought and also be flexible in confrontation of crisis and difficulties in life. Which means that they have creative and critical mind to confront with reality and facts. Creativity is not doing specifically privileged and excellent things, rather it is the creativity that happened in everyday life. Creativity is the process of mind which make ideas and concepts( which is the main core of the thinking in human being) and generate creative theories. And also presentation of new and useful thought can be called creativity. Meanwhile critical thinking is analytical process, which is sharp-sighted view and help people to be organized and effective in problem solving. The main purpose of this thesis is increment of critical and creative thinking skills and understanding of philosophical issues to children
