Petroleum products as the most common fuel for energy supply are important in our country, and study on the oil fields is always one of the basic neccecities in our country. Structural geological studies are the most important stages in the exploration and production from oilfields. Therefore, the study of the fracture systems and recognition of geometry and its spatial expansion can help develop an oilfield, reduce the cost of exploration and understanding the overall of the hydrocarbon reservoir system. The purpose of this study is to investigate the tectonic structures and identify fault mechanisms and stress in the Soroush oilfield in the northwest of the Persian Gulf by using subsurface data. In this study, the structure, formation mechanism and location of faults in the Soroush oilfield have been discussed. Since the study area is submarine, the submarine drilling data (3 Wells) is used for modeling the subsurface structures by using Petrel software. The results indicate that the highest percentage of fractures is concentrated in the central part of the field. The dominant faults on Soroosh are two WNW-ESE trending zones, in which the trend of these faults is due to major faults and Lineaments on the margin of the Arabic plate , Major Lineaments of the Zagros and the Najd fault in Saudi Arabia. During numerical modeling, with field modeling results using the Pearl software, two compressive and tensile stresses in the region were observed that these systems are related to the regional tectonic event, which reflects the early stages of collision between as represented by the Sanandaj- Sirjan zone, and the Arabian plate. The offset observed in this field is normal and trust, with a maximum of about 45.64 meters. In many faults, the downward slope decreases
