.This project designed a compact device for lasing in optical integrated circuits. This device next to providing a scheme for compact optical integrated circuits makes the active electrical and optical control available. The proposed device includes one input, one output, one active waveguide, and two ring resonators that help to have precise control over the wavelength. The active waveguide contains quantum dots. These quantum dots have a resonance wavelength equal to the central wavelength of the input pulse. The results of this project presented in three parts. First by applying an incoherent optical field, we have tried to have optical gain in a desired wavelength. In this regard, we observe lasing modes in 1542.72 and 1542.83 nanometer wavelengths with the transmission of 1.74 and 1.41, respectively
