There are various ways of looking at Quranic ethics. The present study is composed of two lists; the principal vices and the virtues. The main characteristics of Quranic ethical code may be the objection to Bedouin and semi-nomadic ideals, and the preference for ideals of a settled society in which individualism flourishes. Also, the family has its significance in this ethical code.
