Ahmed Durri Efendi was an important statesmen of Ottoman Empire During the diplomatic relations with Safavid persia at the begining of the 18th century. He was one of the ambassadors sent to Persia by the Ottoman Empire. His work, "Sefaratname" was the outcome of his negotiation with shah Huseyn in Iran and examining the social and political conditions of Iran. Ahmed Durri Efendi's Sefaratname is a very important work because it contains information about the last days of Safavids. There are seven different copies of this Sefaratname. This thesis, trys to find and examine the original copy of this sefaratname.
