Mustaʿidd Khān (b. c.1060/1650, d. 1136/1724) was born in Aḥmadnagar (Deccan) and died in Delhi. He was raised by his foster father Muḥammad Bakhtāvar Khān (d. 1096/1685), author of the Mirʾāt al-ʿālam ("The mirror of the world").
