ʿAbd al-Raḥmān Mushfiqī Bukhārāʾī (932-96/1525-88) was a lyrical and satirical poet who lived between Bukhārā and Samarqand, and worked at the court of the Shaybānids (r. 906-1007/1500-99). He was born in Bukhārā in 932/1525 or 946/1538 but his father was from Marv, which is why he is also known as Marvazī.
