Boabdil (Abū ʿAbdallāh Muḥammad b. ʿAlī, b. 866/1461-2, d. 940/1533-4) was born in Granada, the eldest son of Abū l-Ḥasan ʿAlī, who reigned before him, under the name Muley Hacén.
