Abū Dahbal al-Jumaḥī , Wahb b. Zamʿa (fl. second half first/seventh century), was an Umayyad poet of Meccan origin, from the Banū Jumaḥ, a sub-tribe of the Quraysh. He was born sometime after 20/640 in Mecca. In the Kitāb al-aghānī "The book of songs", by Abū l-Faraj al-Iṣfahānī (d. c. 360/971; 3:313), he is counted among the five famous poets of the Quraysh, but he and al-Ḥārith b. Khālid al-Makhzūmī are clearly of minor importance compared to the others who
