Beginning in July 1991, the North Dakota Game and Fish Department authorized the use of funds in a cost-share program to assist farmers and ranchers with the implementation of nonlethal methods to protect livestock. Fund expenditures are administered and approved by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, Wildlife Services, North Dakota program.
