Lexical and other linguistic data from Old and Middle Korean documentary sources are explored in order to throw light on the frequently involved peregrinations of three constellations of Wanderwörter widely attested across Eurasia: (1) the principal terms for Cannabis sativa L.; (2) a 'metropolis' - 'necropolis' designation represented, e. g., in WMo.-Uig. suburyan 'sepulchre' and NKor. sǒ'ul 'Seoul'; (3) an Old Korean word for 'king' suspected of Indo-European origins.
