This dissertation argues that Han Christians can retransmit their beliefs among Uyghur Muslims in Xinjiang. This ability is present despite ethnic tensions and cultural disparities. Through literature review and oral history interviews, emic perspectives give insight into both the barriers and opportunities to both groups' interactions.
