In what ways is access to information and credit important for economic development? The first chapter of my dissertation considers how information and credit constraints can affect occupational choice and the allocation of individuals across sectors. In the second chapter I examine how to measure the ways entrepreneurs utilize funds from a positive credit shock. The third chapter considers how religious beliefs affect personal decisions about accessing credit.
