High-Temperature Superconductors in 1992 Welcome Address --; I General Properties, Preparation, Structure --; II Applications, Film Preparation --; III Transport Properties, Thermal Properties --; IV High-Energy Spectroscopies --; V Hyperfine Interactions, Magnetic Properties --; VI Optical Spectroscopy, Raman Scattering --; VII Theory --; VIII Fullerenes --; Index of Contributors.
The most recent results in the field of electronic and magnetic structure ofhigh-temperature superconductors is reviewed in this volume. Comprising introductory and research contributions it presents a survey of the current understanding of high-Tc superconductivity in oxidic and carbon superconductors (Fullerenes). Particular attention is paid to the amisotropyof their electronic system, to their preparation and potential application, their spectroscopic analysis, including IR, magnetic resonance, Raman scattering, and high-energy spectroscopy, and to the theoretical understanding of the normal and superconducting state. The reader will find introductions to important aspects of high-Tc superconductivity research and reports on the most recent progress made in the understanding of the electronic structure of the systems in the neutral and doped state. As an up-to-date overview of this field the book will be welcomed by established researchers and newcomers alike.
